The southern Ardèche is very appreciated for its numerous natural beaches of pebbles or sand.
Within a radius of 2 km from the campsite, you will find some nice little swimming spots. The Beaume and the Ardèche are very popular with campers who like to swim and cool off in the hottest hours of the summer, dive from the top of the rocks or simply spread out their towels and bask in the Ardèche sun!
At 600 m from the Camping Le Petit Bois (5 minutes on foot), holidaymakers can enjoy swimming in complete safety. The children will have fun in the shallower areas without current while the adults will enjoy a sunny and lazy break or dare the most daring dives. Thrills guaranteed!
From the campsite, along the gorges of Baume in particular, you will find beautiful bathing sites, more discreet and remote, in a setting just as exceptional. The Ardeche is home to a multitude of beaches and there is no shortage of opportunities to take a dip!

Would you like to fish in the Ardèche?
At 2 minutes walk from the Camping Le Petit Bois, you can fish on the banks of the Ardèche, a first and second category river, in an enchanting setting where nature, fauna and flora are preserved.
Are you new to fly fishing? The surroundings of Ruoms and the region of Vallon Pont d’Arc are the ideal playground for river fishing. The campers will be able to fish small fry (bleak, gudgeon, perch…), but also barbel, carp and chub, while admiring the magnificent landscapes. The risk? Let yourself be distracted by the beauty of the place when the fish bites!
